2001 RANGE ROVER 4.6 VOGUE (P38)

This Range Rover 4.6 Vogue is a stylish luxury 4x4, with an uprated exhaust, a comprehensive service history and which presents in generally superb condition. Under the bonnet is the 4.6-litre V8, coupled with the four-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates 77,205 miles.

First registered in March 2001, this Range Rover has been with its current keeper for eight years. It is fitted with a Janspeed stainless steel exhaust, but remains highly original overall.

The bodywork of this refined 4x4 is in great shape, and the condition of its Epsom Green Metallic paintwork has been described as excellent. The vendor has reported that a few small blemishes can be seen on the bonnet, alongside a small scuff off on the corner of the rear bumper, though it is believed to retain the factory paint. The car rides on a set of rare 19-inch alloy wheels, which are in great condition on all four corners.

Inside, the Sandstone leather features smart green piping and presents with just some very light creasing to the base panels, though the vendor notes it was re-connolised in 2020. The roof lining was also professionally replaced in October 2020 to rectify some light sagging, at a cost of £500. The leather-clad door cards are in good shape, and the wood inserts which also adorn the dashboard and steering wheel are all free of any significant scuffs. The heated seats are reported to need a base blanket replacement, though the remainder of the electrics currently work as they should.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in April 2021 at 77,141 miles, where technicians changed the engine oil and filter, before greasing the propshaft. Prior to this, routine servicing was carried out in November 2017 and September 2012, and the head gaskets were replaced in 2014. A window mechanism and the sunroof have recently been re-calibrated by technicians at a Range Rover main dealer, who also fitted a new driver’s door lock.

The most recent MOT test was on 30 April 2021, which it passed with no advisories. As the car is in Northern Ireland, its regular inspections do not show up on the online MOT history website. The Toyo tyres were all fitted in 2017 and have only covered around 600 miles.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s handbook, stereo manual and service book in their factory leather wallet, along with two HPI reports and a raft of maintenance invoices.
