EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• This Land Rover Discovery 2 Autobiography was specified with Damson Red paintwork, a bespoke red leather interior, 18-inch alloy wheels and wood veneer inlays.
• The cabin is equipped with electrically adjustable heated seats, air conditioning, dual rear screens, a Harman Kardon sound system and a sunroof.
• Its original owner’s manuals and service book will be included, along with its heritage certificate, an insurance valuation, a raft of maintenance invoices, its Guinness World Records Certificate of Participation and two keys.

CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The Damson Red paintwork has undergone some localised repairs to the offside front wing, bumper, door edge and sill panel, and the nearside rear door mouldings, rear quarter and front door edge. It now presents with a few marks on the front end.
• Inside, the original red leather upholstery has a few surface blemishes and some age-related creasing, but still looks very impressive given the age and mileage.
• Its wood trim was refurbished in 2019, and now presents very well.
• Some wear can be seen on the gear knob and red door card inserts, along with a few surface marks on the dashboard plastics.
• All of the electrics work as they should.
• The most recent MOT test was on 26 October 2020 at 167,384 miles, which was a pass with one minor defect; a deteriorated nearside front lower suspension component ball joint cover, and three advisories to monitor a minor oil leak, slight play in the offside drag link end ball joint and a fracture in the offside rear structure, though which does not significantly reduce rigidity.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Its most recent service was performed in November 2020 at 167,384 miles, where technicians at Guy Salmon Land Rover in Northampton replaced the spark plugs, horn unit, offside front headlamp bulb, offside rear brake calliper back plate and the rocker cover gaskets, rectifying the aforementioned oil leak.
• The clutch master cylinder, rear differential pinion seal and rear oil seals were replaced at Guy Salmon Land Rover in January 2020, at 164,743 miles.
• The vehicle was Waxoyled by Before ‘n’ After Rustproofing in Newbury in December 2013.
• A reconditioned engine, a new clutch and a replacement exhaust manifold were installed in October 2013 at 112,303 miles by RCV Land Rover in Kent.
