This 2000 Audi TT is a smart first-generation example of the exciting and stylish performance car, presented in highly original condition throughout. This early Audi TT was first registered in September 2000. The car was initially an Audi UK company car, which was then sold in 2001 via Preston Audi to its first private owner, who cherished the car for nearly ten years. Its second private owner kept it for a further nine years, adding a private registration plate. The TT has now been with its current keeper for the last year, who is only selling as they are moving to mainland Europe and have no need for a right-hand drive car.

The car’s sleek bodywork presents well, with flush shut lines, smooth panels and no reports of any previous damage. The condition of the silver paintwork has been described as good, and though a slight scuff is visible on the offside lower corner, as well some stone chips on the front bumper and a minor touched-in scuff on the nearside sill, these blemishes are all entirely commensurate with the age. Overall, this TT presents very well. The vehicle rides on a set of 17-inch six-spoke alloy wheels, which have some kerb damage but are in presentable condition all round.

Inside, the seats are trimmed with black leather, which is described as being in excellent condition and remains entirely original. The vendor notes the upholstery has a light patina, though it presents with no rips or tears and the impressive condition continues through the rear. The vendor reports the fuel gauge over-reads, but the warning light is accurate. Otherwise, everything is reported to work as it should, and there are no warning lights present on the dashboard.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in February 2020 at 90,809 miles, where technicians at Ribbleton Service Station carried out an annual service. The cambelt and water pump were replaced during this 2020 work. The previous recorded service was in April 2013, where David Hodgson at Leicester Road Garage carried out an oil change. An ESP sensor connection was cleaned, the battery was charged, and the diagnostics were checked and reset in February 2021.

The most recent MOT test was on 15 February 2021 at 94,171 miles, which resulted in a pass with two advisories to monitor a worn offside front tyre and some slight play in the nearside front suspension arm ball joint. The tyres are reported to have 5-6mm of tread remaining.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manual, service schedule and sound system booklet in their original aluminium-edged binder, as well as a selection of maintenance invoices, MOT certificates, two keys and a first aid kit.
