2000 ASTON MARTIN DB7 VANTAGE VOLANTE

This Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante is an elegant drop-top grand tourer, presented in superb condition following a recent full service. It is powered by a smooth 5.9-litre V12 engine, driven through the five-speed ZF automatic transmission. The car has covered just 47,405 miles from new.

An original right-hand drive UK-supplied example, it was delivered and first registered in March 2000. There are four previous owners on record, and the car’s condition suggests that each has taken care to keep this Aston Martin in good order.

The Skye Silver paintwork presents well, with an even finish all around the car. There are some stone chips on the nose as you would expect from a car that’s been enjoyed on the road, but no dents or other damage. It sits on the original set of 10-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, which are in good order with only a few kerb marks.

This DB7’s cabin is sumptuously upholstered in Connolly hide, accented by light wood veneers and finished with plush Wilton carpets. The combination of Pacific Blue and Light Grey leather is very smart, and is stitched with light blue thread. Its electrically-powered hood works perfectly and fits snugly, and is trimmed with a smoke-coloured headlining that is in great shape.

The condition of the leather all around the interior is very good, with only some minor wear and discolouration visible on the driver’s seat bolster, and a few scuffs on the back of the front passenger seat. The centre console features an Alpine stereo, and there is also a CD changer located under the boot floor.

Accompanying the car is the original maintenance booklet, which shows six main dealer stamps up to 14,784 miles. From 2010 to 2017, the car was looked after exclusively by performance car specialist Arun Limited in West Sussex, and there are seven stamps on file for this period. Its last scheduled maintenance was in March 2019 at Vantage Engineering, which included a full service with all oils and filters changed, along with renewal of the brake fluid.

Its last MOT was in October 2019 at 47,405 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. The vendor confirms there are no known faults on the car. The wheels are shod in Bridgestone tyres all round, in size 245/40 R18 at the front and 265/35 ZR18 at the rear.

As well as the maintenance booklet, this car also retains the original owner’s guide, along with numerous invoices for previous services. The factory-supplied spare wheel and tools are also still present under the boot floor, and the car comes with two keys and the original tonneau cover.
