• The engine was tuned at the factory to produce 276bhp, and features a larger intercooler, an IHI turbocharger, sodium-filled valves, and stronger pistons.

• The car rides on its original 16-inch, six-spoke Version 6 wheels, which are finished with gold paintwork.

• The factory CD player has been replaced with a Kenwood double DIN unit.

• The vehicle is supplied with its original handbooks and tool kit.

CONDITION

• There is no known body damage.

• The Pure White paintwork is thought to have been resprayed in the past and is described by the vendor as being in excellent overall condition. However, there are some minor stone chips on the front bumper, as well as a small mark on the underside edge of the boot lid, which is in line with the car’s road use.

• Inside, the cabin is very smart overall, though there is some wear on the driver’s seat bolsters, commensurate with the car’s age and mileage.

• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults.

• The car’s most recent roadworthy inspection was performed in July 2021, which it passed without any warnings or advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This Impreza’s most recent service was performed in July 2021 by CJF Automotive, whose technicians changed the engine oil and oil filter, as well as carrying out a full vehicle inspection.

SUMMARY

This Subaru Impreza WRX STI is a particularly late-production example of the first-generation model, and is one of the only 500 Version 6 Sports Wagons built, making it an especially rare Japanese modern classic.
