This Maserati 3200 GTA represents an exciting opportunity to own a stylish Italian coupe with character in spades. Producing 365bhp, the twin-turbo 3.2-litre V8 engine is mated to a four-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The odometer shows 35,744 miles.

First registered on 30 November 1999, the car has had six previous keepers. The vendor has owned this Maserati since April 2011. Freshly re-commissioned after around six years off the road, and with low mileage, this example also boasts a great colour combination.

The sculptural lines of the 3200 GTA are brought to life by the deep ‘Blu Luci Mezzanotte’ paintwork. The finish is believed to be original and still presents well overall, with the vendor reporting some small chips around the body. There is also some corrosion and flaked paint around the rear wheel arches, and some slight bubbling underneath the rear lights and at the lower edge of the boot lid. Its 18-inch alloy wheels have some kerbing marks and chips in the paint, but could be easily refurbished to a very good standard.

The cabin oozes with Italian style with swathes of smart blue leather all around the interior. The front seats have electric adjustment and heating, and the upholstery is in very good condition showing only slight bolster wear, commensurate with the low mileage. Its switchgear is suffering from the very common stickiness of the plastic coating, though this is such a frequent foible that there are numerous specialists who can readily rectify it. The contrasting grey Alcantara roof lining, grey carpets as well as the rear cabin and boot trim all presents well.

Serviced by marque specialist The Maserati Shed in September 2020 at 35,500 miles, this car was treated to a recommissioning service after around six years off the road under a valid SORN. This consisted of a cambelt replacement, full engine oil service, a new radiator, air filter, thermostat replacement, and fresh coolant. The vendor advises that new brake discs and pads have been fitted within the last 2,000 miles. The Maserati Shed has disabled the Skyhook suspension system as it was found that the nearside shock actuator was only working intermittently.

The last MOT was completed on 15 September 2020 at 35,484 miles, with advisories for corrosion on the coil springs, and slight play in the nearside front lower ball joint. The nearside front indicator light was also reported to be flashing too quickly. The Falken FK452 tyres were fitted approximately 2,000 miles ago.

Supplied with its Maserati handbooks and the stamped service record in the original wallet, this 3200 GTA is also accompanied by the radio code, warranty literature, and previous MOT certificates. Both ignition keys are also present, plus the red key.
