CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The original Zenith Blue paintwork is described by the vendor as being in good overall condition, with a few use-related stone chips to the car’s nose, door mirror caps and rear bumper. There is some minor corrosion around the driver’s door latch, as well as blemishes on the outer rim of the sunroof, and a very light scratch on the nearside edge of the bumper next to the wheel arch.
• There are a few scuffs and small areas of bubbling on the alloy wheels.
• The original Graphite Grey leather interior is in fair shape, with some modest signs of use around the cabin commensurate with the vehicle’s age and mileage. These include slight discolouration to the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever, some creasing and light scuffing to the leather seats, a small stain on the driver’s seat, and a small crack on one of the rear speaker covers.
• The car is reported to be in excellent working order, with no known mechanical or electrical faults.
• The most recent MOT test was carried out on 26 October 2020 at 88,080 miles, when the car registered a clean first-time pass.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This 996 Carrera was inspected in May 2021 at 88,152 miles by CG Colwills, who also cleaned and waxoyled the inner sills, performed a four-wheel alignment, changed the gearbox oil, inspected the brake pads and callipers, cleaned the brake pipes and shock absorbers, fitted a new battery and re-gassed the air-conditioning.
• The last service was undertaken by A.M.C in October 2020 at 88,080 miles, who cleaned the brake pipe, rear brake disc, and the passenger-side of the underbody. They also changed the engine oil and filter.
• Prior to this, A.M.C serviced the car in December 2018 at 87,333 miles, and in August 2017 at 87,010 miles.
• During the current keeper’s ownership, a set of original number plates were fitted, as well as a new starter motor, front top mounts and bump stops. A new key was coded, and the tyres were re-seated and sealed.
