• This E55 AMG is finished in the attractive hue of Azure Blue metallic over a Graphite Black leather interior.
• It rides on its correct set of 18-inch AMG monoblock alloy wheels, which are in great shape having previously been refurbished by Lepsons, though there are now some minor kerb scratches on the rim of the rear driver’s-side item.
• Factory-fitted equipment includes heated and electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, automatic dual-zone climate control, a premium Bose sound system, a rear sun blind, and an electric sunroof.
• Almost entirely unmodified, the car does feature an ‘X’ pipe in place of its original centre silencer, enhancing exhaust gas flow, and a K&N air filter.
• It will be supplied with all of its original handbooks, as well as documentation of its service history and various invoices detailing its past maintenance.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• Believed to have been partly or fully resprayed in the past, the paintwork is in good overall condition, with some minor stone chips on the lower front bumper and a 2mm mark on the driver’s door.
• Inside, the cabin presents well, with some general creasing on the seats’ leather upholstery and minor wear on the driver’s bolsters, which is commensurate with the car’s age and mileage.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults, and all of the switchgear currently works as it should.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 26 August 2020 at 115,090 miles. This resulted in a first-time pass, with advisories for surface corrosion on the brake pipes, discolouration of the offside front indicator, and some minor corrosion on the rear subframe. An oil leak was noted from the gearbox sump gasket, but this was rectified in the March 2021 service.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This E55’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in March 2021 at 115,181 miles by independent Mercedes-Benz specialist Cornerstone Garage Ltd. A ‘B’ service, this included replacement of the brake fluid, spark plugs and automatic transmission fluid and gasket, and a new pilot bushing was also fitted.
• Prior to this, the car was serviced in May 2017 by Autoclass and in January 2016 by Cornerstone Autos.
• During the seller’s ownership, the suspension springs have also been replaced, the fuel injectors have been cleaned, and another oil change has been carried out.
