• Its V5C will be included, along with a history file, a jack, a wheel brace and a set of locking nuts.

CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage, and the car is HPI clear with the donor chassis number.
• Its Rosso paintwork is in excellent condition, now presenting with just some very light swirl marks under direct sunlight.
• Inside, the black leather seats are in good shape, with just a few surface marks on the driver’s side.
• No electrical issues have been detected.
• The most recent MOT test was on 14 September 2017 at 3,481 miles, which was a clean pass with no advisories or defects.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Its most recent service was in June 2016 at 2,938 miles, where technicians at Lovers Leap Garage in Hope Valley, Derbyshire replaced the engine oil, brake fluid, four radius arm bushes and the spare tyre, before overhauling both rear brake callipers, fitting new seal kits and re-assembling the exhaust and rear subframe, also replacing one of the subframe mounts.

A superb tribute to the Maserati 450S (Tipo 54), based on a Daimler chassis with Bob Ford-crafted bespoke aluminium coachwork, this homage boasts impressive performance courtesy of its 5.0-litre Chevrolet V8. It has been driven sparingly by a handful of enthusiastic keepers since the build, and would now make a wonderful addition to any collection of classics.
