KEY FACTS

• An engaging no-frills driver’s car, this is an original and unmodified example of the JDM performance hero.
• Under the bonnet is the 190bhp B18C 1.8-litre VTEC four-cylinder engine, which drives the front wheels via a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission. 
• First registered in March 2000, this Integra Type R was sold new by Josh Sady Honda of Essendon North and is a genuine Australian delivered model with the desirable lower kerb weight of just 1087kg.

EQUIPMENT AND OPTIONS

• The Type R DC2 has been described by Evo magazine as “the greatest front-wheel-drive performance car ever”, combining the legendary B18C VTEC engine with a taut lightweight chassis.
• This Integra is finished in the rare and sought-after Honda Phoenix Yellow Y56 over a Black and Yellow interior featuring Recaro front seats.
• Original equipment includes a leather steering wheel and gear shift gaiter, carbon fibre interior trim, sports pedals, air-conditioning, and power windows.
• The original stereo has been replaced with a Pioneer DEH-80PRS CD head unit with Bluetooth, and a Skunk2 Racing gear knob is fitted.
• The vehicle is supplied with its original books, including owner’s manual and log book.

CONDITION

• There is no known body damage.
• Its Phoenix Yellow paintwork remains in very good condition for its mileage, and all of the Honda and Type R badges are present and correct.
• The factory 15-inch wheels show some signs of gutter marks and the extended boot spoiler has faded in places, commensurate with the age of the vehicle.
• Inside, the car presents very well, with the Yellow Recaro seat covers and Yellow stitched Black rear seats all in good condition. The rear parcel shelf has previously been cut for the fitment of aftermarket speakers and the covers remain in place.
• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults.

SERVICE HISTORY
