KEY FACTS
- A very good example of the renowned grand tourer, with a rare colour scheme and low mileage.
- It is powered by the 5.5-litre Tipo V12, producing 479bhp and 419lb-ft of torque, which drives the rear wheels through the six-speed manual transmission.
- It was supplied new to Ineco Auto S.p.A. in Verona, Italy, and has been kept in the possession of a collector since 2013.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
- Pininfarina-designed bodywork, magnesium alloy 18-inch alloys, yellow brake callipers, Nero Carbonio paintwork and a Bordeaux leather interior
- Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manuals, stamped service book, toolkit and car cover.
CONDITION
- No known bodywork damage.
- Its Nero Carbonio paintwork is in excellent condition, and is believed to be original, now with just a few light stone chips to the front bumper and wings.
- Its Bordeaux leather presents with a handsome patina and a few light creases, which are entirely commensurate with its low mileage.
- A few scratches and scuffs can be seen around the switchgear controls.
- No electrical faults have been detected.
SERVICE HISTORY
- As the car has largely been stored as part of a private collection, its most recent scheduled maintenance was undertaken in August 2005 at 57,196 km, where technicians at a main Ferrari dealer performed a service and changed the cambelt.
- The car is obviously is need of a full recommissioning service given the time since then, to ensure it is in good running order.
Dates and mileage:
- 16/03/1999 - 15,690 km
- 11/09/2001 - 32,710 km

SUMMARY
This Ferrari 550 Maranello is a superb grand tourer, understood to retain its original factory paint and very smart interior, and which has been sparingly used over the last 15 years. While it would benefit from a full service, it presents very well, and would be a credit to any collection of modern classics or supercars.
