KEY FACTS

• This Bentley Continental T is a very low-mileage example of the elegant classic grand tourer, with a stylish British Racing Green and tan colour scheme.
• Under the bonnet is the 6.75-litre turbocharged Bentley V8, producing around 420hp and 650lb-ft of torque, coupled with a four-speed GM automatic transmission.
• Originally delivered to the US, this car was formerly part of The Gernatt Collection. It was acquired in early 2020 by the current owner, who subsequently had it shipped to the UAE.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The Continental T was a more athletic and more expensive version of the Continental R, with a wheelbase that was 102mm shorter, and with flared front and rear wheel arches. Its brake discs were also uprated to provide suitable stopping power.
• Understood to be one of only 321 cars built, and one of only 217 in left-hand drive; this example was specified in the handsome British Racing Green hue.
• Its chromed wheels have been repainted to match the bodywork, while the interior is trimmed in sumptuous tan leather upholstery and walnut veneers.
• The cabin retains its original stereo and telephone.
• Its original owner’s manuals, service book and toolkit will be included, along with a set of spare bulbs and a collection of maintenance invoices.

CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• Its British Racing Green paintwork is thought to have been refreshed in the places, presenting with some minor blemishes, superficial scratches and stone chips. There is also a small mark on the edge of the driver’s door, and a mark on the right rear wing.
• Its tan leather upholstery is in very good condition, with a few light creases on the seat surfaces, and some wear behind the rear seats.
• No electrical issues have been detected.

SERVICE HISTORY

• In June 2021, mechanics at Western Star Machinery Repairing carried out a full evaluation, which resulted in the fitment of a new ignition switch link, oil cooler pipes, rear left shock absorber seals, and the gearbox and engine sumps. They also replaced the front and rear brake discs and pads, with parts supplied by IntroCar, and installed new front damper mounts. An engine scan revealed two fault codes denoting a random misfire and warning light fault, but these were cleared and did not return.
• The brake master cylinder has also been replaced during the vendor’s ownership.
