• Inside, the grey velour cloth upholstery is embroidered with Williams ‘W’ logos in blue thread, complemented by blue seat belts, and the original Williams-branded floor mats.

CONDITION

• There is no known prior bodywork damage.
• Its Monaco Blue paintwork presents well for its age, though there are some minor marks in the finish, commensurate with the mileage. There is also some paint flaking on the lower sills, another spot along one sill edge, and slight bubbling along one of the black window frames.
• The cabin is in very good order, with the grey velour cloth showing minimal wear, and no damage. The lower door pockets are slightly discoloured, and there is general age-related fading to some of the finishes, but overall the interior looks smart.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.
• The most recent MOT test was on 21st September 2021, which was a first-time pass with only one advisory regarding a slightly deteriorated nearside front brake flexi hose.

SUMMARY

This Renault Clio Williams 3 is a smart example of the breed, appearing to remain highly original, and with no modifications or upgrades. It has relatively low mileage for its age, and has evidently been stored off the road for periods in the past to keep it well preserved. While there is room for some very minor cosmetic improvement, this is a wonderful 1990s hot hatch that would make a great addition to any collection of modern classics.
