1995 NISSAN SILVIA (S14) NISMO 270R

KEY FACTS

• A rare, limited-edition variant of the Japanese performance coupe, presented in smart, highly original condition.
• It is powered by the turbocharged 2.0-litre ‘SR20DET’ inline-four, with a power boost to 270hp, coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential.
• In total, only 30 examples of the 270R were produced, with this example being marked as number 29 of that limited run.
• It was serviced in July 2021 and is reported to be in sound mechanical condition.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• As standard, the 270R version of the S14 Silvia features a vented bonnet with a front-mounted intercooler, a Nismo ‘Edge’ aero kit, a high-performance clutch, Nismo control arms, under-chassis bracing, a new sway bar, and firmer springs and shock absorbers.
• All 30 examples were painted black, with ‘Nismo 270R' badging above the rear wheels.
• Inside, the car features chequered blue and grey seats with the Nismo logo on their backrests, 270R-branded floor mats, and a three-spoke Nismo steering wheel.
• It still rides on its original set of 17-inch, five-spoke Nismo alloy wheels, which are in very good shape.
• There are no known modifications.
• Its original toolkit will be included.

CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The black paintwork has previously been resprayed, and is in impressive overall condition, with a few minor blemishes on the front bumper.
• Inside, there is some light wear on the driver’s seat and some age-related fading on the floor mats, as well as some scuffs on the dashboard plastics, in line with the car’s use.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This Silvia’s most recent service carried out was in July 2021 at 120,030 km, when technicians changed the engine oil and filter, as well as the gearbox and differential oils.
• The brake fluid has been changed during the vendor’s ownership, and the air conditioning system has been re-gassed.
• The control arms, bushes, struts and springs are new, and were bought directly from Nismo.

One of only 30 examples produced, this Nissan Silvia Nismo 270R is an incredibly rare and sought-after modern classic performance car. Presented in very good, unmodified condition and benefitting from a recent service, this 270R would make a great acquisition for any JDM collector, and it is ready to enjoy on the road or the track.
