This Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet represents a great opportunity to acquire an open-top variant of one of the most coveted 911 models. With its air-cooled 3.6-litre engine powering via a manual gearbox, this modern classic offers a superbly analogue driving experience. It is finished in a sophisticated colour combination and has covered 76,874 miles from new.

First registered on 5 August 1994, M912 SGY displays 10,630 miles on the odometer with a clock change at 66,244 miles in 2014. The original speedometer is provided with the vehicle, which – along with MOT data – corroborates the accurate total mileage. It has been owned by the vendor since February 2018.

The car’s Aventura Green metallic paintwork is reported to be in good condition, presenting well for its age and mileage. The vendor notes some minor scuffs on the front and rear bumpers, as well as stone chips to the bonnet, front wings and mirrors – some of which have been touched in over the years. They also state that the fabric roof has been replaced in the past and remains in very good order, with the mechanism itself needing only slight manual assistance to work well. It rides on the original 16-inch alloy wheels, which remain smart, having only a few minor marks.

The Marble Grey leather interior is believed to be entirely original, and has evidently been well-cared for over the years. There is some minor scuffing to the driver’s seat bolsters and squab, some discolouration of the leather on the gear lever, and some stains on the grey carpeting. Fitted with a period-correct Blaupunkt stereo head unit and CD changer, all of the controls and switchgear are reported to be in good working order.

Serviced by Porsche specialist Portiacraft in July 2020 at 76,598 miles, this consisted of an annual oil and filter service, and a new air filter. In August 2019, at circa 76,400 miles, Portiacraft performed another standard oil service, while in February 2018 specialist JAZ Porsche replaced the clutch, starter motor and front discs at circa 74,700 miles.

The last MOT was undertaken on 6 July 2020 at 76,598 miles with an advisory for non-excessive wear on the rear brake discs. The Pirelli P Zero tyres remain in good condition with legal tread depths all-round.

It is supplied with a Porsche Club Great Britain folder with records of main dealer and specialist service history, owner’s manuals, and the original Porsche tool kit. The car also has a tracker fitted.
