• This E500 was specified with Sapphire black paintwork, the signature ‘Limited’ two-tone black and grey leather upholstery and optional burr walnut trim.
• Additional edition-specific features include a slightly lower ride height and a set of 17-inch ‘Evo II’ alloy wheels.
• Factory equipment includes heated seats, electric windows, air conditioning, an electric rear roller blind, cruise control, a sliding sunroof, and a radio/cassette player.
• The car is presented in largely unmodified condition, but has been fitted with a xenon headlamp kit for improved visibility.
• Its original owner’s manuals, toolkit, radio code card and spare key will be included, along with a raft of Japanese service sheets.

CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The boot panel, headlights and front grille have been resprayed, and the Sapphire Black paintwork now presents with only a few minor blemishes on the bonnet, front bumper, door mirrors and the offside C-pillar.
• Some light scratches can also be seen beneath the door handles, and the vendor notes that the chrome trim strip below the passenger-side headlight is slightly uneven.
• Inside, the two-tone upholstery is in very good shape, though there are some general use-related creases on the seats and blemishes on the backs of the front seats.
• The wooden trim has been re-lacquered, though there are a few cracks on the rear central storage box.
• The adjustable rear headrest switch is currently inoperative, but there are no other known electrical or mechanical faults.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 15 September 2021 at 92,146km, which resulted in a clean pass after an issue with the registration plate lamp was corrected.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This E500’s most recent maintenance was carried out in June 2021 at approximately 92,000km, when the vendor carried out a private service at Protech Cars in Aylesbury, changing the engine oil, oil filter, spark plugs and serpentine belt, as well as both front wishbones.
• The previous routine service was performed at Welwyn Merx in 2019.
• The air conditioning hoses have recently been replaced, and the system has been re-gassed and leak tested.
• The battery, air intake hoses and tyres have also been replaced.
• The car has been kept on a trickle charger when not in use.
