• It rides on the correct set of 15-inch BBS RA alloy wheels, which are unmarked.
• The original instruction manual is included in the sale, as well as various invoices and several historic tax discs and MOT certificates.

CONDITION

• The car has no known bodywork damage and has had several exterior trim pieces replaced, as well as a full respray within the last 10 months.
• The refinished Tornado Red paintwork is in superb condition, presenting excellently and exhibiting a deep shine. There are no significant flaws or blemishes.
• The grey and rainbow stripe cloth interior is in very good condition, with only the slightest signs of wear on the steering wheel, and a couple of minor indentations on the driver’s seat.
• There are no known faults, save for the MFA/clock in the instrument panel which has a partial ‘bleed’ visible, but which is repairable.
• The most recent MOT test was conducted in November 2020 at 150,012 miles, when the car registered a clean first-time pass.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This Mk2 Golf GTI was most recently serviced in November 2020 at 150,012 miles by Kwik-Fit, who performed an engine oil and filter change, and who also changed the air filter and spark plugs.
• During the previous ownership, the heater matrix was replaced, as well as the fuel pump and ignition coil. They also commissioned some light mechanical refurbishment, which included new engine mounts, attention to the brakes, and a cam belt replacement service.
• Previously, it was serviced in November 2012 at 148,001 miles, when the engine oil and filter were changed, as well as the air filter and brake fluid. Prior to this, the car was serviced in June 2009 at 145,388 miles, when the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, coolant and brake fluid were all renewed.
• Alongside a full respray, during the current keeper’s ownership, various exterior trim pieces were replaced, and a full vehicle inspection was performed.
