KEY FACTS

 EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• From the factory, this 500E was fitted with an electric sunroof, along with heated seats.
• It remains largely original, though an upgraded exhaust has been fitted to enhance the sound of the V8 engine.
• Included with the vehicle is the V5 showing one former UK keeper, the grading and assessment documents from Osaka, Japan, service history and invoices from the UK, the original tool kit, warning triangle and first aid kit, plus numerous handbooks and manuals. Both the original Becker Mexico stereo and the backbox section of the exhaust are included in the sale.

CONDITION

• There is no known impact damage to the vehicle.
• The paintwork is in generally excellent condition, with a small patch of bubbling noted on the upper offside edge of the bonnet along with some minor stone chips which are commensurate with the age and mileage of the vehicle.
• Inside, the cabin remains in great shape and presents very well, with few signs of notable wear other than some patina on the steering wheel and small marks to the wooden dashboard trim.
• There are no known faults with the vehicle, and no warning lights present on the instrument panel.
• The most recent MOT test took place on 26 March 2021, which resulted in a pass, after minor issues with the headlights, a track rod end ball joint, and emissions testing were rectified.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The latest service took place at 67,561 miles (108,730km) during June 2021 and included an oil and filter change, along with new H/T leads, new gear selector bushes, and a gearbox and differential oil check.
• Prior to this, the car was seen during April 2020, which was a major service including new spark plugs.
• Between 2015 and 2020, various parts were replaced and upgraded, with invoices in excess of £5,000 included in the history folder.
• The tyres have been freshly replaced following the MOT (where they have been noted as an advisory), and new drop links have been fitted to the vehicle.
