• The car has not been modified in any way, and remains in its original factory specification, down to the original Blaupunkt stereo unit.
• Included with the vehicle are a detailed service history, full specification breakdown sheet, service handbook, owner’s manuals, Mercedes-Benz dealer map and the V5 registration document showing eight former owners.

CONDITION

• There is no known prior damage to the bodywork, though the vendor notes there is some visible corrosion on the front and rear wings.
• Other than the noted corrosion, the paintwork is in generally good order, with light marks and stone chips commensurate with the mileage. There are swirl marks through the finish, so it would certainly benefit from a full machine polish to enhance the appearance.
• There is also a patch of worn lacquer on the upper front nearside wing above the headlight, and the rear nearside wing may have been repainted as the colour appears slightly different.
• Inside, the cabin is in remarkably good condition for the age and mileage, which is testament to the legendary W124 model build quality. It shows only very modest wear, with no rips or other damage to the leather, and more notable wear around the steering wheel rim.
• According to the vendor, there are no faults or issues inside the car, though the ABS light occasionally illuminates which may point to a faulty sensor.
• The most recent MOT test took place on 26 May 2021, and resulted in a clean pass with no advisories after repairs were carried out to a fuel line.
• The vendor notes that reverse gear appears to require more revs than any other gear, though it still functions.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This 300TE has been dry stored and kept on a trickle charger since the vendor purchased the car around nine months ago.
• During their ownership, the vendor has carried out an oil change themselves as a matter of course, but no other servicing has been required, and a good service history is present documenting work up until 4,000 miles ago.
