1990 FERRARI 348 TB

This Ferrari 348 TB is a stylish Italian supercar, finished in the famous Ferrari colour of Rosso Corsa, and appearing to remain highly original throughout. Under the engine cover is the 3.4-litre quad-cam V8 engine, which drives the rear wheels via the transversely-mounted five-speed manual transmission – hence the model’s TB or ‘Transversale Berlinetta’ suffix.

First registered in October 1990, this is an original European delivery model, and it has been with the current owner for the past two years. The odometer shows 48,656 km, and the car is registered on Monaco plates.

Its bodywork presents in very good order, with no signs of any prior damage, and with flush shut lines throughout. The Rosso Corsa paint is thought to be original, and is in good condition for its age. There are minor imperfections that are shown in the photo gallery, and some wear or slight damage to the black front splitter on the right-hand side. Overall though, this is evidently a very well-presented example. It rides on the original five-spoke alloy wheels, which have some small scuffs and grazes around the rims.

Inside, the black leather upholstery is original and remains in very good order. There is slight creasing and bunching of the leather, but no rips or tears. Likewise, the dashboard and door card leather trims present well, and there is just some minor wear around the door handle areas. All of the original switchgear is still in place, as is the factory steering wheel and gear knob. Its cloth headlining is in great shape, with no sagging or damage. There are no known electrical faults.

Its last scheduled maintenance was in December 2015 at 46,250 km, carried out by Scuderia Baldini, which was a timing belt replacement and service. The vendor states that another full service and timing belt change will be done before handover to the next owner.

This Ferrari 348 TB is a highly original modern-era supercar, and represents a great value entry point to manual gearbox V8 ‘Berlinetta’ ownership. It is well preserved in the original Rosso Corsa factory colour, and is reported to be in good mechanical order, with a fresh service to be carried out ready for the winning bidder.
