EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• As part of the upgraded build process, Safir Engineering updated the monocoque to allow for its new construction, incorporated zinc-chromate corrosion-proofing, a new more robust fuel tank design and a Tennant Panels roof structure.
• The bodywork is made entirely of carbon-Kevlar fibre composite to maximise strength while keeping weight to a minimum.
• Since its construction, the car has not been modified from the original build specification.
• A comprehensive history folder is included with the car dating back to 1994, allowing the next owner to trace the ownership and use of the car over the last 27 years, including during the vendor’s four-year tenure with the car.

CONDITION

• There is no damage to the bodywork, and no known previous accidents.
• The red paintwork is in generally very good condition for its age and mileage, showing minor signs of wear including stone chips, along with some blemishes to the rear clam caused by engine heat. All four of the ‘knock-off’ wheels are in good order.
• The functional cabin presents smartly given the car’s age, displaying only light wear in keeping with the car’s low mileage and careful use.
• There are no known faults with the car.
• Despite its build date, the car is registered as a historic vehicle (dated 1968) and is MOT exempt, though the last test was conducted in October 2019 at 7,841 miles, with no warnings or advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The car’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out by Historic Automobiles in May 2021 at 7,850 miles, which included an engine oil, oil filter, gearbox oil and brake fluid change, as well as the replacement of the radiator cap and servicing of all four brake calipers.
• Prior to this, a full inspection and service was carried out in May 2017 at 7,819 miles by SVP Motorsport, who also serviced the car in April 2016 at 7,768 miles.
• The 2017 service included replacement of the front wheel bearings, CV boots and fuel pump, while the fuel filters were cleaned.
