CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The Signal Red paintwork was resprayed during the car’s restoration in 2018, and is in very good condition overall, with only a few minor stone chips on the nose, as well as light scratches around the badges on the car’s tail and two small chips on the roof cover panel.
• The exterior trim is also in good order, though there are light scuffs on the chromed centre section on the top of the front bumper and small marks on the front bumper’s rubber trim.
• The soft top is in good condition, displaying some minor creasing and a couple of nicks to the edge of the fabric, in line with the age of the vehicle. 
• The hard top presents well, with a deep shine to the colour-coordinated paint and brightwork. There is only one small mark on the headlining.
• Moving inside, the original leather cabin is described by the vendor as being in excellent condition, displaying some minor signs of wear on the steering wheel and fine cracks on the walnut trim surrounding the central window switches.
• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 2 September 2021 at 134,629 miles, resulting in a clean, first-time pass.

SERVICE HISTORY

This 300 SL was last serviced in September 2021 at 134,629 miles by Elliotts Motor Engineers, who carried out a full service including replacement of the engine oil and filter, as well as tuning the engine.

Prior to this, the car was serviced in July 2018 at 133,710 miles.

This Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is a handsome classic roadster, presented in a tasteful colour scheme and remaining true to its factory specification.
