1988 FERRARI 328 GTS

This Ferrari 328 GTS is a fantastic example of the marque’s celebrated 1980s two-seater sports car, which is presented with very low mileage and in superb condition. It is powered by the 270bhp 3.2-litre V8, coupled with a five-speed manual transmission. The odometer currently indicates 42,050 km.

The 328 received its only major mechanical update for the 1988 model year, meaning this example comes with ABS, revised suspension and convex hub 16-inch flat-spoke alloy wheels. First registered in October 1988, this 328 has in recent years been certified by the Ferrari Classiche department, and has been with its current keeper for four years.

The bodywork of this 328 is in excellent shape, and the condition of its Bianco paintwork has been described as excellent. A few very light stone chips can be seen on the nose of the vehicle, along with one or two small marks on the rear window louvres, though the body trims and elegant Ferrari badges are all in good order. The vehicle features Ferrari-badged wing mirrors, while the 16-inch wheels are in superb order all round.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed with black leather, which presents in exceptional condition. It is believed to be entirely original and features very little wear, with the exception of some light creasing to the entry of the seat-mounted storage compartments. The cabin features the correct three-spoke steering wheel and a gloss black gear knob with an exposed shift gate, both of which are immaculate, while all of the switchgear is reported to work as it should.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in March 2017 by technicians at Garuti Giuseppe in Bastiglia, Modena, and the car is reported to be in very good mechanical condition. Accompanying the vehicle are its original toolkit and Ferrari Classiche certificate.

This Ferrari 328 GTS is a wonderful modern classics sports car, which has been certified by Ferrari Classiche and presents in excellent condition throughout. A very smart example of the breed, this 328 would make a superb weekend toy and a wonderful addition to any collection.
