EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• As an updated 1988 model, this 328 GTB comes equipped with ABS, revised suspension geometry and convex-hub 16-inch alloy wheels.
• It is finished in the timeless hue of Nero Metallizzato, with Crema leather covering the seats, transmission tunnel, upper door cards and roof lining, while the dashboard and steering wheel are trimmed in contrasting Nero hide.
• This example was specified with an air conditioning system, which works as it should.
• The original radio has been replaced with a more modern Sony CD player, which is wired to a pair of aftermarket Blaunpunkt speakers mounted in the door cards.
• The car will be accompanied by a substantial folder of invoices and other paperwork documenting its history and past maintenance, as well as its handbook, stamped service book, tan leather document wallet and tool kit.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• While it may have been touched-in at some stage, the paintwork is believed to be largely original and is in good overall condition for its age, with a peppering of stone chips on the nose, ‘gravel rash’ behind the wheel arches, small grazes on the passenger door and some superficial scratches around the car.
• Inside, the cabin is very smart, with some minor use-related marks and blemishes including scuffs on the leather-covered seat backs, a small amount of staining on the headlining beside the driver’s sun visor, and wear on the driver’s outer seat bolster, the handbrake lever gaiter and the rim of the steering wheel rim.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 4 June 2021 at 64,712km, resulting in a first-time pass with no warnings or advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This 328’s most recent routine maintenance was an annual service including a cambelt change, which was carried out in March 2018 at 64,587km by Ferrari specialist Autofficina at a cost of more than £2,200.
• Prior to this, Autofficina performed a major service and cambelt change in October 2013 at 63,573km, and an annual service and cambelt change in June 2010 at 63,066km.
• The seller also notes that the metal heat shields at the rear bulkhead have been renewed, along with the fuel filler, ignition coils and wiring.

One of the last models engineered and launched during Enzo Ferrari’s lifetime, the Ferrari 328 is a sleek and instantly recognisable 1980s sports car.
