KEY FACTS

• A rare ‘single mirror’ Testarossa in the iconic Rosso Corsa colour, and with an excellent history file.

• It remains original inside, with the correct steering wheel and gear knob.
• The car rides metric ‘monodado’ wheels with Michelin TRX tyres.
• It comes with an extensive history file with receipts and invoices totalling over £40,000. There is also a copy of a previous V5 document showing Pete Waterman’s name.
• It has recently been put through a Ferrari Classiche inspection at Ferrari Wilmslow.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• Its paintwork is in generally excellent condition, with the vendor noting a minor chip on the driver’s side front wheel arch.
• The interior is in great shape, having been re-trimmed in the original black leather colour.
• There are no known electrical faults.
• The most recent MOT test was on 10 August 2016 at 56,539 miles. At this point it failed on the basis of a leaking upper fuel hose, an inoperative offside brake light, and faulty dipped beam function on both headlights. These issues have since been rectified, but it has not yet been resubmitted for an MOT test.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Its last service was in February 2018 at 57,247 miles, when main dealer Stratstone Wilmslow renewed the left and right fuel pipes, and replaced both cam cover gaskets and end plates to rectify a leak, before taking a fresh set of photographs for the car’s Ferrari Classiche submission.
• Prior to this, in October 2017, the car was given an overhaul of the rear suspension and air-conditioning system, plus fitment of a replacement exhaust system, and a new front chin spoiler. The brake callipers were stripped, cleaned and painted; as were the rocker covers. This work came to a total of £6,744, and was carried out by Cheshire Classic Cars.
