CONDITION

• There is no known accident damage to the bodywork, though the underside of the bonnet has been dented, leading to cracking in the paint finish on top.
• In 2013, the Land Rover was given a respray to a good standard, while the underside was also fully steam cleaned and treated with wax oil. In general, the finish still presents very well today, with only a few very minor imperfections.
• The interior has been refurbished, so while the dashboard, steering wheel and gear shifters are original, the seats and cubby box are relatively new. As such, the upholstery is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear or discolouration on the heated seats.
• There are no known electrical faults.
• The most recent MOT test was on 1 October 2020 at 167,684 miles. The tester noted slight corrosion on the chassis, as well as corrosion on the nearside front and offside rear brake pipes.
• The previous MOT test in August 2019 initially noted some more extensive corrosion under the offside front of the vehicle in particular, though this was evidently repaired and the car passed one week later.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Last serviced in November 2020 at 167,911 miles, this was carried out at Silver End Service Station. Similar routine maintenance was carried out by the same workshop in December 2019 at 166,754 miles, and at the same time the cam belt, battery and fuel filter were also replaced.
• An invoice on file shows that the refurbishment in 2013 at 157,926 miles also included an engine rebuild, plus a conversion to power steering. In addition to other improvements, the total cost came to £6,210.

SUMMARY

This Land Rover 90 Pick Up is a mechanically strong utility truck, which is still in good order following a significant refurbishment of its engine and paintwork eight years ago. While there are minor blemishes in the cosmetic finish today, these arguably only add to the rugged charm of this Pick Up, which would be a great choice as an off-road workhorse, or even as a basis for further upgrades.
