CONDITION

  • The bodywork is reported to now be in excellent order, with no rust. A note on the CARFAX report indicates some body damage in 1989.

  • Inside, the tan upholstery is in excellent condition, with only very minor marks around the cabin in a few places.
  • The Jeep does not come with a roof or doors, though the seller states that it has been garaged since the rebuild. The interior is also fully waterproof.
  • There are no known mechanical or electrical faults however there is reportedly fog in the clock glass.

SERVICE HISTORY

  • As part of the restoration, a new Jasper engine block was fitted.
  • Other mechanical work included a new carburetor, spark plugs, freeze plugs, steering pump, and a flush of the fuel lines and tank. The exhaust manifold was replaced, along with the thermostat housing, steering box, automatic transmission fluid filter, a new battery, cage, and wiring.
