1981 FERRARI 308 GTSi

The Ferrari was first delivered to a property business through Ferrari’s official German importer, Auto Becker, on 2 April 1981. It was then purchased by a Mr Quante and later by Mr Kelter, on 27 July 1983. The next owner was Dr Frölich, who had a pre-purchase inspection on the car, which stated that it was accident-free and had largely original paint.

In August 2014, the car was purchased by the current Italian owner, who has had it maintained regardless of cost over the last five years. During this ownership, the 308 GTSi was registered with the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (A.S.I.) on 9 December 2014, being given reference number 602949.

Over the course of its life, the car has had no less than 29 German technical inspections, as noted in its German registration documentation. A major service was performed in March 2013 and the window motors were replaced in June of the same year. More recently, under the current owner’s instruction, the car underwent another major service, where the belts, fluids, fuel and cooling systems, brakes, and steering were overhauled, at a cost of €10,535.92.

Overall, the car — from bodywork to wheels to the interior — is largely original and has been well maintained by each of its owners over its lifetime. The car is finished in a rare and highly attractive colour combination, is accompanied by a spare set of keys and is fitted with a Clarion cassette player and stereo power amplifier.
