EQUIPMENT AND OPTIONS

• The engine in this Series III has previously been swapped out for a factory rebuilt 3.5-litre ‘Gold Seal’ Rover V8 unit for improved performance and drivability. Only 10-15,000 miles have been covered since the upgrade took place.
• All four doors have been replaced.
• Included with the vehicle is a great history file including the original service book dating back to August 1979, the original owner’s manual, a stack of receipts, and the heritage certificate.

CONDITION 

• All four of the side doors have been replaced during the vehicle’s life, and while the colour is close to matching, it is obviously a slightly different hue.
• Barring the doors, the paintwork is believed to be entirely original. It has been bleached by years spent in the sun, but is in generally good condition with a few patches of wear visible on the offside front wing, offside rear quarter and nearside rear quarter; though this is commensurate with the age and mileage of the vehicle.
• The interior is also believed to be original and presents in remarkable condition for the age with only minor patina and slight wear and tear.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults with the vehicle, nor are there any warning lights present on the dashboard.
• The most recent MOT test was on 28 April 2021 which resulted in a pass with advisories for some corrosion on the front brake pipes and defective wiper blades, though the latter advisory has been rectified.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The most recent service took place at 54,865 miles and was carried out by Mulsanne Automotive. This work included a full engine flush and oil change, fitment of a new offside rear brake cylinder and main brake master cylinder, a brake fluid change and brake bleed and a full chassis undercoating.
