• Its original red paintwork is in excellent condition, as you would expect from a bike with such low mileage that has been carefully preserved.
• Its black vinyl seat is in good shape, with no rips, tears or scuffs.
• No electrical faults have been detected.
• The most recent MOT test was on 28 September 2013 at 48 miles, which was a clean pass with no advisories or defects.
• The tyres on the bike are not perished, but are aged and hard, and have been kept on for the sake of originality as the tyres are specific to the model range.
• It was serviced in 2015, when the engine oil was changed and a minor mechanical refurbishment was performed. The wheels have been re-spoked, and four control cables have been renewed.

SUMMARY

This Honda XL250S is an exceptional example of the classic enduro bike, which has just 527 miles on the odometer and accordingly remains in virtually as-new condition. While it could ultimately be put into sparing use to enjoy as intended, it would of course make a superb addition to any collection of classic motorcycles.
