• Its brown cloth and vinyl upholstery is in great condition for its age, with a few minor marks and patches of worn trim, but no major damage.
• A few small scratches can be seen on the gear knob and dashboard plastics, and the vendor has reported some light discolouration under the rear window.
• No electrical faults have been detected.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Its most recent service was at around 69,000 km, where technicians at ‘Gasgazis service’ in Veria, Greece, replaced the engine oil, filter, brakes and coolant, before servicing the air-conditioning.
• New mirrors and a new exhaust have also been fitted.
• The battery was replaced in March 2021, along with the tyres.

SUMMARY

This Mazda RX-4 is a lesser-seen rotary-engine coupe, which has been in single ownership for 44 years, and benefits from a recent respray to refresh its exterior. The rest of the car remains incredibly original, and while it has been driven sparingly in recent years, it is in good running order and is ready to be enjoyed on the road again. It will no doubt appeal to keen collectors of 1970s Japanese classics.
