EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The Dutch military is thought to have started taking Lightweight Series III deliveries in August 1976, where most were used by soldiers completing national service, until the model's withdrawal in 1993.
• This example was built and dispatched for military use in March 1977.
• It retains its original engine, gearbox and axles, and is unmodified; still presenting as it did during its military service.
• The tailgate features a mounted axe and shovel.
• It is fitted with a 24-volt electrical system.
• A British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate will accompany the vehicle.

CONDITION

• A few superficial dents can be seen in the doors.
• Its green paintwork is in good shape for its age, now presenting with some light discoloration beneath the windscreen and with some light scratches, stone chips and flaking on the front end.
• The windscreen is lightly scratched, and the rear vinyl window is slightly cloudy.
• Inside, its black vinyl trim has some surface discolouration and creasing.
• Light scratches and scuffs can be seen across the dashboard, centre console and steering wheel, as you would expect from a previously active military vehicle.
• No electrical faults have been detected.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Its most recent service was at 76,169 km, which saw replacement of the engine oil, filters, differential fluids, oil pressure switch and two under-wing shields.
