1977 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY (C3)

• The vendor states that the brake callipers have been upgraded and it would also appear that the engine fan and cooling system have both been uprated.
• Equipped with the T-top removable roof panels as standard, and the ‘sport’ door mirrors.
• New 16-inch alloy wheels fitted in the style of the original Corvette wheels, and shod with matching Cooper Touring tyres.

CONDITION

• This Stingray’s paintwork presents very well, having been repainted in the past, and the extensive photo gallery below shows its condition accurately. The bumpers, sills and headlight pods all look to be in great shape. The brightwork is also in excellent condition.
• The interior also looks smart, and has clearly benefited from being re-trimmed at some point. The seats are free from tears and the bolsters are in good order.
• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults. The instrument gauges and switchgear are all currently working as they should.
• As part of its restoration in the US, the engine had a full rebuild with tubular manifolds ceramic-coated, uprated heads with a new carburettor, and many other new parts fitted.
• This car is MOT test exempt due to age. It passed its last inspection in June 2017 without any advisories and has covered fewer than 200 miles since.

SERVICE HISTORY

• While little is known about the service history of this Corvette, it is clear from its condition that it has been previously restored and well-cared for. The engine bay is also very well presented, providing more evidence of being cherished during its life in the US.
