EQUIPMENT AND OPTIONS

• In the smart Sahara Dust hue, the paintwork of this ‘Suffix B’ is complemented by a black radiator grille, aluminium bumpers and correct steel wheels.
• The interior Palomino vinyl is trimmed in the original ‘Kit Kat’ style.
• The original spare wheel, foot pump, jack, and tool kit are all present. The stereo has been replaced with a modern vintage-looking item, but the 1970s unit is also included.

CONDITION

• Presenting superbly on the outside, the quality of the restoration is readily apparent from the impressive shut lines and panel fit. There are over 100 photos charting the restoration process carried out six years ago by specialist Honychurch Classic Automobiles.
• The Sahara Dust paintwork is described by the owner as excellent with only minor surface corrosion on the door hinges being apparent. There are also a few small bubbles at the bottoms of the doors. The glass and lighting are all in great shape.
• The underside and engine bay of the car are equally as impressive – as can be seen in the photographs – with attention paid to both appearance and long-term protection.
• On the inside, the seats, door cards, carpets and dashboard are all in excellent order. The headlining is taut and complete with functioning courtesy light. The vendor has noted that the clock is inoperative.
• Although exempt by age, the vehicle was MOT tested on 27 April 2021 at 75,119 miles. It passed first time without advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• In May 2021, an engine and carburettor service was carried out by Wellbrook Motors.
• Prior to this, in May 2019, an oil change was performed by Honychurch. The vehicle has been used sparingly since its restoration.
