EQUIPMENT AND OPTIONS

• This 250 CE left the factory finished in Moss Green metallic with a cream ‘MB-Tex’ vinyl interior, and is equipped with air-conditioning and electric windows.
• Retrofitted with a modern Sony radio/CD player.
• The car will be accompanied by a number of invoices for the parts used in its restoration.

CONDITION

• No bodywork damage or corrosion.
• Following purchase by the current owner, the bodywork was fully repainted and the dashboard was removed to repair corrosion beneath the heater unit. Any mechanical or electrical parts which required attention were then replaced or repaired, and the car is now in excellent condition.
• The car rides on the correct set of chromed wheels, which feature various kerb scratches on their rims and are fitted with the appropriate body-coloured hub caps.
• Believed to be entirely original, the cream vinyl-trimmed interior is in excellent condition, with only a few minor blemishes on the driver’s-side door card’s storage pocket and a charming light patina on the dials and controls.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Last serviced in April 2021 at an indicated 54,650 km. This included an oil and filter change, as well as replacement of the air filter, brake fluid and spark plugs.
• Prior to this, the car was maintained on an annual basis by the seller’s team of in-house technicians.
• Previously part of a private collection, the car does not have any service history prior to the seller’s ownership, but has been extensively refurbished during this time.

This W114-generation Mercedes-Benz 250 CE is a wonderful example of an elegant and refined coupe, which has been restored and fitted with the 2.5-litre engine from a later W123-series car.
