1973 ALFA ROMEO 2000 GT VELOCE

• Its original owner’s manuals, stamped service book, registration documents, toolkit and Alfa Romeo Certificate of Authenticity will be included, along with various maintenance invoices.

CONDITION

• No prior accident damage. The vendor states that it is also a rust-free example.
• Its resprayed Dutch Blue paintwork is in excellent condition, with only minor imperfections that are documented in the photo gallery.
• Its re-trimmed beige natural leatherette upholstery has no wear or discolouration, and is matched to the original seat pattern.
• There is one cut on the inside of the original steering wheel, which is not visible from the driver’s seat.
• No electrical faults have been detected.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Various components were replaced during the sympathetic restoration, focusing on the suspension; including the struts, bushes, ball joints, shock absorbers, steering joints, wheel bearings and also the body seals.
• The brakes were refurbished, and new wheels and tyres were fitted. 
• The engine and gearbox did not require any significant attention as they were in good running order, but all rubber hoses and seals were replaced.
• The electrics were checked and repairs were carried out where required.
• Over the last two years, the engine and brakes have been serviced to keep them in fine condition.
