EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Introduced in 1968, the first generation ‘T150’ Trident was met by widespread praise for its then-revolutionary three-cylinder engine, as well as its impressive performance and unusual styling.
• This example is finished in an attractive red and silver colour scheme over a black frame, and features a black vinyl-covered seat.
• The bike has been fitted with an electronic ignition system.
• It will be accompanied by its correct workshop manual and parts book, as well as its original Jersey registration book, a large number of bills and receipts for its past maintenance, its full tool kit, a selection of spare parts and a pair of new Dunlop tyres.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork or frame damage.
• While it is not known whether the red and silver paintwork is original, it is in very impressive condition, with the only noticeable signs of wear being a few blemishes on the rear mudguard beneath the seat.
• The black-painted frame is also in very good order, but does feature some minor chips and touched-in marks, in line with the bike’s age.
• There is some minor pitting on the wire wheels’ rims and light surface corrosion on their spokes, as well as slight pitting on the exhaust silencers.
• The seat is presentable, though it does have various blemishes on its surface, as well as a tear on its left-hand side.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults with the bike.
• Now exempt due to its age, this Trident’s last MOT test was conducted on 25 November 2017 at 40,919 miles, resulting in a clean, first-time pass.

• This Trident’s most recent routine maintenance was an annual service, which was carried out in November 2017 at 40,919 miles by Forbourn Motors.
• The engine has previously been rebuilt by a marque specialist.
• The seller has also cleaned and balanced the carburettors, and has replaced the battery.
