CONDITION

• There are bubbles in the paintwork around the rear end and on the boot lid, but the bodywork appears to be in generally good order. While these blemishes could be attended to in due course, the exterior paintwork is said to present well for its age.
• The interior has been reupholstered in black vinyl, with numerous interior pieces from a six-cylinder 2000GT model fitted to enhance the look. The trim is in very good condition, with no obvious damage and only modest signs of wear.
• Three-point rear seat belts have been installed by the seller.
• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The vehicle was last serviced in August 2021, by Billion Target in Hong Kong. Maintenance carried out included an engine oil and oil filter change, transmission oil change, rear differential oil change, spark plug change and the fitment of a new battery.
• At the same time, the engine’s twin Weber carburettors were adjusted.
• Four Federal 565 EVO tyres were fitted in October 2020.
• The seller states that the engine was rebuilt in 2016.
• There is no other service history or paperwork on file.

SUMMARY

The Nissan Skyline is one of the most collectible nameplates to come from Japan, and this ‘C10’ generation represents its genesis. While there are some small cosmetic jobs that the next owner could attend to in due course, this is a presentable classic Skyline, which has numerous desirable upgrades to make it a more exciting and visually dramatic sports sedan. It could be a great basis for further modification, or simply a fun weekend driver.
