1967 FIAT 500 F ABARTH EVOCATION

This 1967 Fiat 500 F Abarth Evocation is a charming Italian classic, which has enjoyed a prior extensive restoration and upgrade, and now presents in very good condition throughout. It is equipped with a more powerful 650cc two-cylinder engine, coupled with a four-speed manual transmission. The odometer currently indicates 53,150 km.

First registered in 1967, this 500 has been in the hands of its current keeper for three years, and it has been subject of a cosmetic and mechanical upgrade to the ‘Abarth Evocation’ specification.

The bodywork of this classic Fiat is all in great shape, and its resprayed white paintwork has been described as excellent. It features red Abarth decals above the skirts, both of which are in great condition, though some stone chips and marks can be seen on the front end around the lower bumper area. All of the chrome trim appears to be in good shape, while the headlight lenses are free of any clouding or cracks. The vehicle rides on a set of Minilite-style 10-inch alloys, which have a few chips and some lacquer peel in the finish.

Inside, the black vinyl trim is in very good condition, with smart red piping and just a few small creases. The vinyl-clad door cards are in great shape, as are the red carpets and contrasting black floor mats, though some early signs of wear can be seen on the three-spoke steering wheel. There are minor marks and nicks around some of the dashboard and cabin trim, but overall it presents very well. An aftermarket Rolinger stereo has been installed with USB and SD card inputs and MP3 playback, and no electrical faults have been detected.

This Fiat 500 F Abarth Evocation is a characterful Italian classic, which has been restored and now presents very well throughout. A fun weekend toy or perhaps even a suitable candidate for classic track days, this ‘Cinquecento’ would make a charming addition to any classic collection.
