EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The VIN confirms this is a genuine 1965 model built at the Dearborn, Michigan plant and originally fitted with a C-code 289ci two-barrel carburettor V8. The data plate on the door shows that it was finished in Honey Gold, with Ivy Gold and White ‘luxury’ trim; and equipped with the 2.80:1 rear differential and C4 automatic transmission.
• Refurbished in its original factory paint colour, this Mustang also features the sought-after ‘Pony’ interior option pack, with embossed details across the seat fronts, as well as a woodgrain fascia with inset round instruments.
• Factory air conditioning was also specified, and the car features a correct-style plaid boot floor covering.
• The car comes with a Certificate of Title, a framed original advert for the Mustang, further documentation, and three Mustang wheel covers.

CONDITION

• The car has no known bodywork damage.
• The Honey Gold paint is in excellent condition, and the bonnet and front wings were resprayed in 2018. There are some very minor blemishes around the car, but it presents superbly overall.
• The interior is in fantastic condition. The back seat has received a replacement foam lining, and there are a couple of very minor marks to the bottom of the door cards, as well as some scuffing to the black trim surrounding the air vents and heating controls.
• The only known fault is that the radio is non-functional.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The engine was rebuilt around 500 miles ago, in 2018, following an engine fire.
• Prior to this, the car was regularly serviced, including frequent oil changes.
