KEY FACTS

• An award-winning, fully restored example of the classic British roadster, presented in wonderful condition.
• Under the bonnet is a 2.1-litre four-cylinder engine, which produces around 105bhp and drives the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
• Delivered new to the USA in 1964, this TR4 spent most of its early life in Virginia, before being exported to the UK in 2000, when it was fully restored. The car was then sold to a Greek collector in 2011, taking home a Concours d’Elegance award during their ownership.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Finished in Spa White with a black leather seats, this TR4 offers additional refinement and occupant comfort thanks to its ‘Surrey’ hardtop and Laycock overdrive system.
• It rides on a set of 15-inch wire wheels, which have been polished to a high shine, and are pristine.
• The car will be supplied with a folder of documents detailing its restoration, as well as some records of its prior service history.

CONDITION

• No bodywork damage.
• Having been fully resprayed to a very high standard, the white paintwork is in fantastic condition, with a smooth, glossy appearance around the car, and only one small blemish on the upper rear-section of the driver’s door.
• Furthermore, the underbody and engine bay have also been meticulously refurbished, and are reported to be in exemplary order.
• Inside, the leather-clad seats feature some minor creases, but otherwise there are no signs of wear or damage in the cabin. A ‘Miss Moneypenny’ plaque has been affixed to the glove box lid, though this can easily be removed.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This TR4’s most recent routine maintenance was a full service, which was carried out in February 2021.
• The restoration was carried out during 2000 by JD Classics, and the condition is still very impressive just over 20 years later.

SUMMARY

This Triumph TR4 is a superb example of the popular British roadster, which has previously undergone a complete restoration, and remains in fantastic condition throughout. A former Concours d’Elegance award-winner, this overdrive-equipped example is a joy to drive, and would also be an eye-catching display car at any classic show.
