EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Finished in grey, the car’s features include a retrimmed red and cream vinyl interior, and a roll-back vinyl roof.
• There are white and red stripes around the tyre walls, and a charming and well-equipped picnic hamper on a removable rack at the rear.
• Included in the sale is the original jack and tool roll, spare wheel, original and stamped Italian registration booklet, authenticity letter from Fiat’s homologation department, import paperwork and service receipts from both Italy and the UK.

CONDITION

• There is no known previous bodywork damage, and the car was restored in 2017.
• The resprayed grey paintwork displays very well, with a deep shine. The brightwork is also in excellent condition.
• The red and cream-trimmed vinyl interior is also in excellent condition.
• There are no known faults, and the car is reported to be in good working order.
• Due to its age, the vehicle is exempt from mandatory MOT testing. However, the most recent MOT test was in January 2017 at 8,202 km, when the car registered a clean first-time pass.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The car was most recently serviced in April 2021 at 8,561 km by Addington Motors Newcastle, who carried out a routine inspection and adjustment of the tappets. They also stripped and cleaned the carburettor, replaced engine gaskets, and renewed the distributor cap, rotor arm, points and condenser. Finally, the timing was adjusted and the new tyres were fitted.

A step back in time to 1960s Turin, this charming Fiat 500D is in excellent condition, having been meticulously restored in 2017, and finished with some custom touches.
