CONDITION
- There is no known prior bodywork damage, though given its rallying history, it may well have had remedial work carried out.
- Its resprayed Sky Blue paintwork is in good shape, with minor flaws including a chip in the front edge of the bonnet, and a few marks around the rear lights.
- Inside, its OMP seats are in excellent condition, with surface marks and creasing, but no significant wear.
- The steering wheel leather trim is quite heavily worn and discoloured, though only adds to the Alfa’s classic charm.
- All of the electrics are in good working order.
- The car’s engine and transmission have recently been overhauled.
SUMMARY
This Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is a superb rally-prepared example of the breed, which has been in motorsport specification for more than 30 years. It has competed in multiple historic events, and even counts a very respectable 12th place overall on the Carrerea Panamericana revival among its achievements. Its engine and suspension have recently been overhauled, and it is ready for competitive use, or simply to enjoy as a fast road car.
