• The convertible hood panel, headlining and bonnet cable were replaced in 2020, and various pieces of rotten wood were renewed.
• Its resprayed Pearl Grey paintwork is described by the vendor as being in excellent overall condition, with one minor ripple on the nearside front corner and few small blemishes on the front end.
• Some faint scratches can be seen on the chrome body trims, but they present well overall.
• Inside, the black leather-trimmed seats have some light wear to their bolsters, and a few surface marks can be seen in the door cards.
• All of the electrical items work as they should and there are no known mechanical faults.
• While it is exempt due to its age, the car’s last MOT test was conducted on 29 August 2018 at 97,358 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects noted.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This XK140’s most recent service was performed at 98,253 miles, when technicians changed the engine oil.
• The car was recommissioned by Jaguar Heritage in 2015, comprising fitment of a new clutch, radiator, rotor arm, distributor cap, HT lead and various new suspension springs and bushes.
