The Factory Collection

Representing the third dedicated motorbike-only auction event on the platform; Collecting Cars is proud to introduce ‘The Factory Collection’. This impressive assembly of rare road and track-focused bikes is centred around bespoke factory ‘specials’ and limited edition models, most of which remain in as-new condition.

Highlights include a delivery-mileage Ducati Panigale 1199 Superleggera, which boasted the highest power-to-weight ratio of any production motorcycle in history at its launch, as well as a Panigale 1299 Anniversario that remains unregistered.

Another stunning superbike is the MV Agusta F4 RC; a very exclusive ‘homologation special’ and one of just 250 built. The F4 RC features fully adjustable front and rear Öhlins suspension, and a raft of magnesium alloy components.

Six rare Triumph bikes are also part of the collection, including a Rocket TFC with just 350 miles on the odometer. Described by the manufacturer as “nothing less than the ultimate motorcycle”, the Rocket TFC’s 2.5-litre engine produces a remarkable 180bhp and 166lb-ft of torque.

Two limited-production Scrambler 1200 XE bikes are also on offer, in Bond Edition and Steve McQueen Edition guises. The latter was inspired by the TR6 Trophy bike made famous by McQueen in ‘The Great Escape’, while the former was released to tie in with the ‘No Time to Die’ James Bond thriller, and featured numerous 007-themed details.
