We have sold more than 100 Lancias on Collecting Cars, making it one of the best-selling brands on the platform. The earliest example was a 1954 Lancia Appia saloon, eligible for the Mille Miglia. A unique opportunity to buy an original example of this rare model, the Lancia was originally delivered to Italian Formula 1 racing driver Piero Taruffi, who was also the winner of the final ever Mille Miglia for Ferrari in 1957.

Lancia can count itself as being perhaps the most legendary manufacturer to dominate the sport of rallying, especially given that in the World Rally Championship they remain the most statistically successful with 15 titles, despite having withdrawn from campaigning ‘works’ entries more than 30 years ago.

Years before the first WRC events, there was a Lancia model to win acclaim in the rallying field - the Fulvia - which won the Italian Rally Championship nearly every year (the exception being 1970) from 1965 to 1973. Only 1,258 examples of the ‘Fanalone’ Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF were thought to have been built, which were named for their larger inner headlights – with 20 examples of the model raced in period by the Lancia works rally team. This example was eligible for FIA-sanctioned competition, and represented a great opportunity for any buyer to acquire a recently refurbished and well-prepared classic rally car – ready for entry into prestigious events including the Tour Auto and Modena Cento Ore.

The marque’s success rate in rallying was thanks not only to the incredibly talented drivers, but also because of the iconic cars which they piloted, such as the Stratos, 037 and the unstoppable Delta. Of the Lancias sold on Collecting Cars, over 60 are examples of the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, most notably this Ex Works Group A 1991 Lancia Delta Integrale “Deltona”. The car boasted an impressive rally pedigree, having been Carlos Sainz’s only rally winning Lancia Delta Integrale, and also the last works-entered Lancia to win a rally. When sold on Collecting Cars in August 2022, the car attracted fervent bidding from around the world, flying over its reserve by nearly 30% to achieve a hammer price of £321,000.

With more than 100 photos of every car listed, and a detailed description including the service history, you may find your ideal Lancia for sale on Collecting Cars. Many sellers also include videos of their car running and driving, and you can request further details or ask questions in the comments.
