Buy your next Jaguar on Collecting Cars
We have sold close to 300 Jaguars on Collecting Cars, making it one of the best-selling brands on the platform.
The earliest Jaguars sold on Collecting Cars encompass several examples of the effortlessly stylish 1950s open-top British sports car, the XK120 Roadster, from the sympathetically restored, to examples such as this 1951 Jaguar XK120 modified by specialists Concours Restoration. It benefits from an increased capacity of 3.8-litres, has substantial motorsport provenance, and is eligible for many classic rally events.
There are few cars in motoring history that can truly be said to have acquired quite such an iconic, if not legendary, status as Jaguar’s E-Type. Collecting Cars has now sold over 80 examples of this 1960s icon, spanning every Series and body style. However, even in such an impressive back catalogue there are some examples that certainly stand out, in particular this beautiful and competitive ‘Semi Lightweight’ 1963 E-Type Jaguar built to FIA specifications, completed by well-known historic racing specialist Gary Pearson in early 2022 at a cost of some £350,000.
Moving forward to the XJ period, this Jaguar XJR-S TWR Le Mans Celebration was number 54 of just 100 examples produced, which commemorated the marque’s triumph in the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans. Taking the standard XJ-S coupe as the basis, TWR added an aerodynamic body kit and rear spoiler, unique alloy wheels, and uprated suspension with stiffer coil springs and Bilstein shock absorbers.
Notable sales of more recent models include this 2015 Jaguar F-Type Project 7, one of just 250 vehicles produced, and believed to be one of just 10 delivered to Australia. Named for Jaguar’s seven Le Mans victories, the Project 7 was designed and developed by Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division as a modern-day interpretation of the iconic D-Type - focusing on both outright performance and driver engagement.
With more than 100 photos of every car listed, and a detailed description including the service history, you may find your ideal Jaguar for sale on Collecting Cars. Many sellers also include videos of their car running and driving, and you can request further details or ask questions in the comments.
