We have sold close to 300 Alfa Romeos on Collecting Cars, making it one of the best-selling brands on the platform.
The oldest Alfa sold on Collecting Cars was offered from Italy in February 2022. This stunning Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 'Freccia d'Oro' (Golden Arrow) grand tourer represented the marque’s first post-war vehicle, was one of just 680 examples built – and was perhaps best known for its appearance in ‘The Godfather’. Eligible for use in the famous Mille Miglia, this elegant 1940s grand tourer attracted a lot of attention, and was secured by its new keeper for €117,000.
Original unrestored Alfa Romeos typically attract strong bidding, but that’s not to say that certain modified classics can’t bring in plenty of interest. In August 2021, the platform hosted the auction of a GT 1300 Junior ‘Stepnose’, which had been expertly crafted into a Giulia Sprint GTAm 2000 competition tribute car. This superb rebuild featured an uprated Alfaholics 2.0-litre twin-cam ‘Nord’ engine, delivering up to 200bhp to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.
Moving to more contemporary classic Alfa Romeos, we have a low-mileage example of the beautifully styled Alfa 8C Spider. This gorgeous open-top sports car was offered for sale in Austria in June 2022, and was number 14 of a limited run of just 500 examples built.
Another exciting Alfa roadster that could be enjoyed daily; this vibrant, mid-engined 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider was offered for sale on Collecting Cars in March 2022. The 4C Spider featured carbon-fibre, aluminium, and composite parts in order to keep its weight under 1,000 kilograms, while a 1.75-litre turbocharged inline-four sent power to the rear wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch ‘TCT’ transmission with paddle shift.
With more than 100 photos of every car listed, and a detailed description including the service history, you may find your ideal Alfa Romeo for sale on Collecting Cars. Many sellers also include videos of their car running and driving, and you can request further details or ask questions in the comments.
