Default Car Collecting Splash

Since launching in 2019, Collecting Cars has established itself as the leading global online marketplace for high-value high-performance cars.

The platform has sold over 1,200 Porsches, including more than 140 GT2/GT3/GT4 models. No fewer than 12 cars sporting the ‘GT2 RS’ badge have found buyers in the online marketplace, as well as five ultra-rare 993 Carrera RS models, and six examples of the legendary 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7.

These high-value sales demonstrate a crucial difference with a Collecting Cars sale compared to a traditional auction. Quite simply: we take less so that you get more.

Because our auction buyer’s premium is capped, the winning bidder of the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder in October 2022 paid a premium of just 0.47% on a price of £1.07m. Compared to a traditional auction house, the seller received around £200,000 more from the sale.

Another highlight of October 2022 was the sale of the one-of-40 black Ferrari Enzo from The MWVMNW Collection, which sold with a winning bid of £3.27m. The buyer paid a premium equivalent to just 0.15%. Collecting Cars took a fee of just £5,000 from the deal, meaning the seller received up to £700,000 more than a like-for-like sale at a traditional auction.
