Collecting Cars returns to Rosehill for Sydney Coffee Run

On August 18th, Collecting Cars returned to the iconic Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in Sydney for another of its hotly anticipated Coffee Run events. It followed on from the hugely successful event held in Sydney back in February, with hundreds of cars set to attend.

It was an early start for our team as well as some of the drivers, and attendees began arriving from 6.30am. By the time the event was in full swing, more than 600 cars had assembled, showing the fantastic variety of the Collecting Cars community.

Some of the highlights on display could be found in the incredible supercar pavilion, which featured numerous landmark high-performance models, including a Porsche 996 GT3 RS, 992 GT3 RS, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, McLaren 675LT, Ultima GTR, and much more. Other popular attendees were a BMW M3 Competition Touring in striking Techno Violet, a classic Chevrolet Corvette C2 ‘Split Window’, and several BMW E30 M3s.

There was also a host of Japanese exotica; from rare Nissan Skyline models, to a Nismo Fairlady Z Type 380RS, and lesser-seen modern classics like the twin-cam Toyota Corolla FX-GT. As always with our Coffee Runs, there really was something for everyone.

At our own Collecting Cars stand, guests were able to get their hands on the latest Coffee Run merchandise. We were also pleased to welcome a great selection of exhibitors and vendors: Eurowerke, Eurospec Diecast Models, Nautique Central, Duck & Whale, Purnell Motors, OriginalRace.com.au, Gyeon and MB Insurance.

Our Coffee Runs are now of a scale that requires significant planning and management, so we'd like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all the event partners, including the traffic management team who made sure everyone got in and out smoothly.

Finally, we want to thank all the enthusiasts who took the time to come along to join us during the morning. There was a fantastic turnout from the car community in Sydney, and it once again proved to be a great event that brought people together, for a relaxing morning of coffee and car appreciation.
